Only 3 hours from Melbourne! 🥾 HIKES • Pinnacle Hike via Grand Canyon - 4,5 km return. Start: Wonderland Carpark, absolutly scenic, start early for golden light at the top! (Our fav!) • Mount Abrupt - 6.4 km return, approx. 3-4 h. Sunrise tip 🌄 Missed it due to time, a true gem according to locals, so absolutely worth it!! 💦 WATERFALLS • Mackenzie Falls via Fish Falls - 9,7 km return. Start: Zumsteins Picnic Area, Fish Falls are so underrated and the route is less crowded. • Silverband Falls - 1,4 km return. unfortunately closed when we visited, but said to be stunning. 🌄 LOOKOUTS • Reeds Lookout + The Balconies, easy 2 km return. Go for sunset! • Boroka Lookout - incredible way to start the day with this epic sunrise view. 🦘OPTIONAL • Venus Baths – 2,3 km loop, perfect little summer cool down. • Halls Gap – watch kangaroos, stroll through the charming village & enjoy lunch at Livefast Café. Got so lucky with this sunrise 🌈🥹 We had the Got so lucky with this sunrise 🌈🥹 We had the place completely to ourselves – getting there early is so worth it ✨ Fun fact: Despite the name “Twelve Apostles,” there are only eight of these left today – another one collapsed in 2005. Did you know that? Driving the Great Ocean Road has been on our bucket list forever, and now I get why – this road trip is something everyone should experience at least once in their life 🛻 🌊 #twelveapostles #visitvictoria #greatoceanroadtrip #australiaroadtrip #travelcouple
If this doesn’t convince you to watch a sunrise If this doesn’t convince you to watch a sunrise at Grampians National Park, I don’t know what will 🥹✨🧡 📍Boroka Lookout – the best spot to catch the sunrise! We got up around 5:30 am and made our way there. Totally worth it: the crisp, cold morning air and those first golden rays… There is just something else to watch a sunrise in the mountains ⛰️ one of our most magical moments of our road trip✨ These are the moments I know we‘ll cherish the most 💛 Would you wake up this early for a view like this? 🌄 #parksvic #grampiansnationalpark #thegrampians #visitvictoria
Grampians’ color show – whether it’s the blu Grampians’ color show – whether it’s the blue hour, golden hour, or purple clouds ☁️💜 I knew @thegrampians would amaze me, but I never expected it to be this stunning 🥹 📍Reeds Lookout As the sun disappeared, the sky turned into shades of lilac and deep blue – that magical in-between moment known as the blue hour. The clouds picked up the last colors of the day, making the view feel almost otherworldly. We had Reeds Lookout completely to ourselves – probably because we came during the off-season – and we can’t recommend it enough! There are two viewpoints here. We visited both, but found Reeds Lookout to be the most beautiful. That said, the Balconies also have their own charm. It’s about a 15-minute walk from the car park to the Balconies. #grampiansnationalpark #visitaustralia #parksvictoria #grampians
📌 Add this to your must-visit list in Queenslan 📌 Add this to your must-visit list in Queensland! 📍 Noosa National Park – Fairy Pool We already love all the natural pools here in Australia – and while this one isn’t exactly a secret, it’s still a true gem 🌞 The Fairy Pool isn’t signposted and the path is a bit rocky, but it’s absolutely worth it! ✨ Good to know: We visited during high tide, but the best time to enjoy a rock pool is about 3 hours before to 3 hours after low tide – that’s when it’s safest and best for swimming. High tide can get dangerous quickly. Tip: Download a tides app to check low tide times before your visit. Arrive early, ideally before 10 AM, to enjoy the pool to yourself. 📌 Save this spot for your Fairy Pool jump – it truly stole our hearts!
