📌 Before we jump in, SAVE this post for your next summer day trip out of the city!

If you’re visiting Brisbane, don’t miss Kondalilla National Park at Sunshine Coast Hinterland - worth definitely a day trip and delivers genuine Jurassic vibes! 🦖🌿

It’s our favorite medium-effort loop for a summer swim:
4.7km (Medium difficulty): Ancient rainforest trails, stunning views, and a deep rock pool perfect for a swim in the summer heat.

Tip: To beat the crowds at the rock pool (especially in summer), plan to arrive before 8 AM and better on weekdays. Go early morning or during the off-season!

📌 These are 3 ultimate easy-medium hikes you should add to your Australia bucket list!

If your goal is scenic views without needing an intense, multi-day trek, these three trails deliver world-class views for an achievable effort:

1. North Gorge Coastal Walk 🌅
Effort: Minimal, 2 km
Reward: Dramatic coastal cliffs and wide ocean views- no hiking boots needed. You can spot dolphins, rays and sea turtels!
Details: Located on North Stradbroke Island, Queensland. The best chance to spot whales is from June to November, especially from the eastern lookouts. Go early morning or late afternoon for softer light and fewer people.

2. Kondalilla Falls Circuit 💦
Effort: Low (easy loop with a some steps) 4,7 km
Reward: A beautiful waterfall and a rock pool - perfect for cooling off.
Details: Found in Sunshine Coast Hinterland. The trail is well-maintained and clearly marked, making it ideal for families. Go after rainfall for the most impressive water flow, and bring swimwear if the weather’s warm.

3. Pinnacle Hike 🌄
Effort: Moderate (one short but steady climb) 4,2 km
Reward: One of the best panoramic sunrise views in the area, reached in about 90 minutes of hiking.
Details: Go on a weekday before 7 a.m. to avoid crowds and catch the sunrise in peace.
