If you new here: We moved from Germany to Australia and decided to do something very Australian: Our first ever camper trip! We were driving 4,000km from Perth to Broome in just 3,5 weeks. We’ve never camped in a van before, and the first 48 hours were a total rollercoaster of excitement and mistakes! 2 things we learned already: 1. Van Organisation: You need to create a system in the van where everything has its own place. Otherwise, the van looks completely chaotic within just a few minutes. You’re constantly cleaning up and organizing things 🧹 2. Storage management: Pack everything in soft bags, not suitcases. A suitcase in a van is like an elephant in a china shop - it’s always in the way! 🎒🚫 🚐 Is Western Australia on your bucket list? Who would you love to swim here with? 💦 I can’t b Who would you love to swim here with? 💦 I can’t believe this place is actually real 🥹 📍Spa Pool | Karijini National Park 📌 Before we jump in, make sure to SAVE for your next trip to western Australia! We’ll be honest - we always thought this spa pool was going to be overrated. But after finally experiencing it, it was easily one of our absolute highlights in the National Park! Sometimes the most „famous“ spots are popular for a reason, but the key is knowing how to experience them the right way. Tip for your visit: Arrive BEFORE 8:00 AM to avoid the midday crowds. We had the pool almost an hour for ourselves. Don’t let the „touristy“ label stop you from seeing something this beautiful. It’s a 11/10 experience you can’t skip! 🚐 To get here, you have to drive to Hamersley Gorge - it‘s 55km through a rough dirt road, but it’s managable with a 2WD if you drive slow! In Australia, people worry if there is a spider or snake in the toilet! Finally found one of the ‚Big 3‘. 🐋🥹 Which of the Finally found one of the ‚Big 3‘. 🐋🥹 Which of these is at the top of your Bucket list? 🗺️ Australia has so much more to offer than just kangaroos and koalas! 🦘 Over the past four weeks on the road, we’ve seen an incredible variety of wildlife - from colorful parrots to true giants of the ocean. It’s an adrenaline rush every time you spot wildlife in its natural habitat. Welcome to… our favourite hike in Grampians Natio Welcome to… our favourite hike in Grampians National Park 😍 📍 Pinnacle Hike | Victoria, Australia 📌 Before we dive in, make sure to SAVE for later! This is a 2,5 hour return hike (4,2km total) Park your car at Wonderland Car Park and start the trail from there. 🥾 Medium to challenging We started right after sunrise to avoid the crowds and get the best light – and it was the best decision. We had the trail and the lookout almost to ourselves! Tip: Travel in the off-season.
