With few visitors and full canyon magic ✨

The visit to Canyon X was a real highlight for us. The drive to the canyon takes about 10 minutes with a small transport for a maximum of 10-12 people. When we arrived at the canyon, we were met by our tour guide - and we were really lucky: He was incredibly helpful and gave the tour a very personal touch.

One unforgettable moment was when he played the panpipes in the canyon 🪈 The sounds echoed through the red sandstone walls and created an absolutely magical atmosphere 🎶 🥹

He also told us a lot about the animals that live in the canyon and it was very easy to get into great conversations - a wonderful extra that made the tour even more special 🪶🧡

The best part? 📸 We had plenty of time to take photos and were always able to move a bit away from the group to enjoy the beauty of the canyon all to ourselves. For us, it was a unique experience, that we would do again at any time!

It was important to us that the magic of the canyon got not lost in the crowds. That’s why we looked for an alternative - The tours through Canyon X are smaller, more intimate, so you can experience the canyon without so many crowds.

Another plus: the entrance fees are often cheaper than on Antelope Canyon tours. Perfect for anyone looking for the full slot canyon experience - with much more peace and space to marvel 👣

Unlike the vast, majestic Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon feels more personal and absolutly enchanting, with winding trails that lead you through ancient amphitheaters and breathtaking viewpoints.

We found the contrast between the clear blue sky and the vibrant orange-red rock formations particularly impressive, as they seemed to glow in the sunlight, creating a surreal and intimate panorama.

The play of light at sunrise and sunset is especially captivating 🌄✨

For those short on time:
You can explore the park via the 18-mile-long Scenic Drive, offering numerous viewpoints with breathtaking panoramas accessible by car. Alternatively, there’s a shuttle service available.

Start your day slowly, enjoying the magic of sunrise. Our first stop? Canyon Coffee for good coffee with a delicious avocado bagel and perfect views 🥯🥑

As the first light paints the sky, we head to Canyon Overlook Trail, where we can enjoy a perfect sunrise view 🥹
Tip: Come early, there are only 10 parking lots on site.

With energy restored, we dive into Zion National Park, offering trails for every type of explorer:

🎢 For Adventurous
The Narrows hike promises a thrilling wade through Virgin River canyons

🌾🪶 For a relaxed stroll
Pa’rus Trail is ideal for a relaxed walk or bike ride through scenic paths

🏞️ For spectacular views
The Kayenta Trail offers incredible views and passes the emerald pools

End the day with dinner at the Zion Canyon Brew Pub in Springdale right at the entrance, enjoying cool ranch music 🎶 and a warm atmosphere on the outdoor patio.

From Germany, to the USA & now to

Sometimes things turn out differently
than expected and planned...
We’re so happy that we can finally share some exciting and very special news with you:

We’re going to AUSTRALIA for at least 2 years 🇦🇺

Current plan is to fly after Christmas and spend New Year’s Eve in warm Down Under 🎆🤭

We still can’t quite believe it - it’s all very crazy and exciting. We are infinitely grateful for this great opportunity and also for the time we have been able to experience here in the USA over the last few months 🙏🏻

We had originally planned very differently and the opportunity came as a surprise, which unfortunately force us to leave the USA earlier than planned and we had to deal with a lot of unpredictability in the background.

Although we had a few days to make the decision, our gut feeling said YES straight away and I’ll never forget how we both looked at each other and both knew:
We’re doing this 🥹

Of course, we still have family and friends in the back of our minds, but the final decision wasn’t actually difficult for us because we love life abroad so much.

We’re already looking forward to taking you with us on our new adventure 🐨🇦🇺
Until then, we will continue to share a lot about the USA here 🤍
