Now seriously—why is no one talking about this airport on social media?
Everyone’s hyping Singapore – sure, it’s cool, no doubt.

But this?!

While everyone’s hyping Singapore Airport, we’re enjoying the daylight and the peaceful atmosphere of Doha’s Garden Terminal ✨🌿 No flashy effects, no chaos.

You thought airports were loud and chaotic?
Doha proves you wrong.
Everything here is harmonious, aesthetic, and peaceful. The Orchard Garden felt like walking through a luxury garden in the middle of the terminal.

While Singapore goes all out with flashy shows, Doha stays subtle and elegant – with luxurious seating areas and a relaxed atmosphere.
And that’s exactly what makes this airport so special. Yet barely anyone shows it.

This Airport is seriously underrated, if you ask us! Have you ever been there? What do you think? And why is no one actually talking about this? 😮

Australian Winter?

The dreamy villas just steps from the ocean, the view of Byron’s iconic lighthouse – and that breakfast… honestly one of the best we’ve ever had 🫐🥐🍳

We spent our first nights as a newly engaged couple there – And it‘s definitely a winter escape that felt like summer ✨

27.06.2025 | Our Engagement Story 💍
Raphi had secretly been planning this weekend for weeks, putting so much love and thought into every detail 🥹 What I didn’t know: He had even hired a photographer to secretly capture the moment.

On the day itself, he was nervous – the heavy rain wasn’t what he had planned 🙈 But he insisted we go to this special spot he had found for a walk. I was excited, because I knew that whatever it was, it would def be beautiful!

When the rain finally got lighter, I really wanted to go to the beach. But Raphi kept trying to buy time and said, “I think it’s going to get even better soon!”
Meanwhile, I was wondering how it could possibly get any better 😅

A few minutes later he said we could go now, so we stepped out with an umbrella in hand and walked down to the beach.

The setting at the beach with the rain felt truly magical. A couple of surfers ran into the ocean, it was so peaceful. As we walked along the shore, the rain was pouring. Raphi suddenly stopped and dropped to one knee - I was so overwhelmed I barely noticed the rain anymore 🥹

It was such a beautiful moment. After hugging and laughing, a woman walked up to us – the photographer, who had been hiding and pretending to photograph surfers.

Even though the weather didn’t turn out as planned - We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect proposal – the rain made it feel even more magical 💍🌧️🥹

Broken Head will forever be one of the most special places in the world for us 💛

And I‘ll never forget this day and rainy moment at this place - It was meant to happen exactly like this.

What I thought was just a rainy walk on this special beach turned into the happiest moment of my life. Words can’t describe how I felt when you suddenly got down on one knee 🥹🥹

Our 15-year-old selves would also be in awe of this moment! A million times yes to the most caring man I know, with every part of my heart!! 🤍

What I didn’t know:
Raphi had secretly arranged everything with a local photographer from Byron! She was hiding nearby, ready to capture our special moment without me having a clue!! 🥹

🏙 River Walk in the Central District + Mulga Bills – Morning walk with skyline views, the Botanic Gardens & a coffee break
🧺 Milton Sunday Market – Flowers, food & local vibes – a must on Sundays
🌿 Teneriffe & New Farm – Our favorite suburbs!! Picnic, river walk & local cafés like Joedy’s, KIN & New Farm Deli 🍝
🌉 + South Brisbane – River, art & relaxed city vibes (a bit more touristy)
