⚠️ WARNING: If you visit Australia, your life outs ⚠️ WARNING: If you visit Australia, your life outside of here will be RUINED forever 🤯🫣

This is a heads-up for anyone thinking about moving here or doing a Working Holiday Visa.
Once you experience Australian standards, you won’t be able to tolerate life anywhere else 😅 These are the 5 things Australia has completely broken for us:

☕️ Coffee anywhere else
After Aussie coffee, you’ll seriously ask yourself how you ever survived outside of Australia.

🚗 Driving culture
Aggressive drivers? Constant honking? Gridlock stress?
We honestly forgot what that even feels like. Aussies drive like everyone’s already had their coffee.

🌅 The 5–9 before the 9–5
Life here starts at 5am. Running, beach walks, coffee dates, gym sessions — all before work. Anywhere else, most people are still fighting their alarm clock.

On the other hand… the streets are basically empty after 5pm and most cafés close at 1pm latest. So yes — you’ll wake up early, live your best life before noon… and then wonder in the afternoon where everyone went 😅☕️

🛒 Sunday shopping culture
ALL. THE. SHOPS. ARE. OPEN.
We genuinely can’t imagine a life where Sundays mean “everything is closed, see you Monday.” Emergency snacks, random errands, IKEA trips on a Sunday? Normal now. Forever spoiled.

🌊 Beach standards
We can’t look at any other country’s “best beach” without comparing it to Australia. Clean, trash-free, white sand beaches every weekend?
So… Australia ruined us.

Which one hit you the hardest? Tag your Australian travel buddy!

Who can relate? 😅🙌🏻

I bet you won‘t believe that this paradise is so I bet you won‘t believe
that this paradise is so close to Brisbane! 🤯

📍 North Stradbroke Island (Straddie) – just a short ferry ride from the city (Cleveland via Sealink).

📌 Save this for your next weekend getaway.

It‘s perfect for a weekend escape: coastal walks, quiet beaches, koalas, dolphins and much more - without long travel.

⛴️ Early ferry
🥾 North Gorge Walk (best 8–10 AM)
☕ Blue Room coffee
🌊 Deadman’s Beach
🐨 Amity Point spotting Koalas
🌅 Sunset at Amity Jetty (often dolphins)
🌊 Frenchman’s Beach + rock pool (tide-dependent)
Optional: Brown Lake or Blue Lake

For this national park you should plan at least 3-4 days, to explore everything in a relaxed pace.

Welcome to… our favourite hike in Grampians Natio Welcome to…

our favourite hike in Grampians National Park 😍

📍 Pinnacle Hike | Victoria, Australia

📌 Before we jump in make sure to save for later!

This is a 2,5 hour return hike - 4,2km.
Park your car at Wonderland Car Park and start the trail from there.

🥾 Medium to challenging

We started right after sunrise to avoid the crowds and get the best light – and it was the best decision. We had the trail and the lookout almost to ourselves!

Tip: Travel in the off-season.
We were there in September and can definitely recommend it!
